Linus Pauling Middle School welcomes all students and offers a balanced and supportive educational program. Our goal is for our students to possess the knowledge and skills needed to live productive and satisfying lives. Our excellent staff is passionate about helping students reach their academic goals. Our administrative team is dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all students, families, and staff.
Greg Hyde, Principal
This is Greg Hyde's third year acting as Linus Pauling Principal. Mr. Hyde has been assistant principal at Linus Pauling Middle School since 2017 and has been a teacher for 16 years including 10 years in the Corvallis School District. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science degree from North Carolina State University. In addition to his teaching duties, he has served as a new teacher mentor and been involved in many aspects of the Corvallis School District, from working towards equity for all students to serving on the district’s Innovation Team.
Caleea Kidder, Assistant Principal
Caleea Kidder was most recently a Human Resources Administrator at the Greater Albany Public School District. Before that, she was a principal at the Community of Peace Middle School and an assistant principal and dean of students at Hiawatha Academies. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Education from the University of Illinois-Chicago. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
